Today, the Lions were given the chance to use their creativity. Although, some students were apprehensive about writing the script, I think it gave them the chance to open to new ideas. The exercise involved the group to write a script. The script was freeform, but I discovered that some had trouble coming up with a concept.
So, I gave the group four ideas, that they could use to help them along.
- Write about a new wizard that attends Hogwarts.
- Write about a non living object. e.g. The moon, food, pen/pencil etc.
- Write a back story about Snape (or any professor at Hogwarts).
- Write as yourself in the world of Harry Potter. Would you be a student of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin.
The Lions will complete the exercize tomorrow and will have the chance to perform it.
